Collection: Cebu Visit May 2009

Codie's birthday is coming up, we were planning to let him visit us in Manila, but due to the extreme weather condition(too hot) in Manila, our plan was changed we instead visited him in Cebu to celebrate his birthday. Although 2 weeks vacation has been very short, we made most of the time worth it.

29 May: Day with Codie

My flight was scheduled 4:45AM from Manila, when I arrived in Cebu I just dropped by my things at my parents house and went directly to Codie's summer school to check out their culminating activity which also ends their summer class. After school we went to SM and then Bebo.

30 May: Second day in Cebu

We wanted to have Codie's birthday at the beach together with Ella's and my family, I went to Mactan(famous for great beach in Cebu) to scout a good resort to stay on his birthday. In the afternoon 1&1 friends Joe, Kirk, John and Archie came by to my parents house for a drink.

I bought Codie a new RC pick-up truck for his birthday, we took the RC pick-up truck for a test drive in the park near my parents place.

04 Jun: Photowalk

Edcel a former 1&1 colleague of mine, invited me for a photowalk together with his friends Joel and Cesar. We started walking from University of San Carlos to Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral one block away is the Basilica of Santo Nino and from there we went to Fort San Pedro, we continued walking and reached Parian, after we then took a cab going to Taoist Temple.

06 Jun: Happy Birthday Codie

Last year Ella and I were not able to celebrate Codie's birthday with him due to work demands, this year Codie turned 3 years old, we have little dinner at home together with the rest of the family. See also the album on his first birthday.

07 Jun: Mini Funland

Its Sunday and we dont have much to do, I searched through the Internet for a good place to hang out in Talisay, Cebu(Place of Ella's Parents), I found this Mini Funland located just a few minutes away from the place where we are staying, we went there to check out the place, eventhough the place was small, ride and entrace fees were reasonable.

12 Jun: Portofino 2009

We were not able to go to the beach during Codie's birthday, so we decided to just have a late summer get away with Codie and the rest of the family, we went to Portofino. See also my Portofino shots 3 years ago.

After our summer get away, we went out for a coffee together with Paul, Nino, Rhea, Rheza and Ella at The Terraces, this is my last night on my Cebu Visit.
